It has long been my desire to see more Christians access higher education and grow in their understanding of Scripture.
Knowledge of God empowers us to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
Equipped, trained, and educated servants of Christ will take the true gospel to the ends of the earth.
My prayer is that through the education provided through YCI, lives and hearts will be changed forever.
FAQs
Does YCI offer courses other than Theology?
Currently, YCI only offers theology classes at the proficiency, certificate, and diploma levels. In the future, we will add a Bachelor of Theology degree. We are also looking to expand by adding teacher-training courses for Early Childhood Education and primary education.
How much does it cost to attend?
The cost of the courses varies depending on the level the student wishes to study at. Please see our courses page for more details.
Where are classes held?
Classes are held on the compound for Calvary Chapel Yumbe. We are located at Abattoir Road, Charanga Ward, Yumbe Town Council, Yumbe District, Uganda.
Are there accommodations available for students?
Dorm-style accommodation is available for students free of charge during their two weeks of in-person lectures. Students are advised to bring their personal items, bed sheets, and mosquito nets in order to make themselves comfortable. Mattresses are available on a limited basis. Separate accommodation is available for men and women.
